In your opinion which breeds crow the most and least? I have my first Old English Game bantam and he started crowing at 5 week, and crows way more than any other breed I've ever had. All the other breeds only crow a few times/day.

They crow less as they get older from my experience. I have 5 cockerels/roosters... as they age, they crow less because they’ve established their girls and their position in the flock.

My Deathlayer is the oldest and he cries very rarely. My booted bantam is the youngest and crows constantly, but each month the crowing becomes less.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm looking forward to him getting older. He's in a bachelor pad pen with a same age Polish bantam that only crows 2 or 3 times each morning. What's weird is that the Polish is the dominant rooster so I figured that would keep my OEGB from crowing so much.

They get better with age (if they’re good to begin with), aggressive cockerels tend to get worse as time goes on.

Good cockerels are something that I always like to have around because once they’re roosters they teach the younger ones.
