Crowing?

My 2 and 1/2 month old rooster started to crow.... i think. It sounds more like a " CAWAAAAAAAAAAAA"! Can somebody tell me if this is normal, or is he upset about something?

A cockerels first crow rarely sounds like a crow. More like a cat being strangled. They get better with practice. And practice they will.

Their crows usually are terrible at first.
I'm sure he'll soon have a nice manly crow.
