Crowns disappeared

3 of my 4 peacocks have lost their crowns. We were the eye of the most recent snowstorm and we got A LOT of snow. It wasn't all that cold though. I'm wondering if they froze off or if this is normal. Will they grow back???

Sounds like they got board and pecked them off of each other, mine molt then a few at a time never all at once.
They will grow back in time, try hanging a head of cabbage in their pen, it will keep them busy and will be good for them.

Hmm. I would never have guessed that.

I had one female that always got her crown plucked off by the others, they eventually left her alone and her crown grew back. She was pretty funny looking for awhile with just one or two of the crown feathers on her head. I think they picked on her because she is the meekest out of my bunch.
