The last few days I've found two crows inside the chicken coop raiding the food. The hens have a good go at them, but it's not stopping it. Any thoughts on what if anything I can do? I can't really cover the run as it's pretty large...

Fake hawks? Flashy ribbons , tin pie plates ? Birds are birds and you’re in their territory.

I don’t think netting is that expensive to cover it up ??

Thanks. We've got the ribbons. It's not so much the expense with the netting, it's more the area to cover and that we'd need to put extra poles in to support it. Just being lazy I guess! I'll look out for a fake hawk, but even the local buzzard sitting on the telegraph pole nearby doesn't seem to put them off!

I have a raised coop and the chicken door is a ramp in the floor. Under the floor it's 20" tall enclosed with hardware cloth and another chicken door.
So over two years I've only had one wild bird figure out how to get inside to the feeder.
It was a house sparrow, an invasive species. I used a fish net to capture it.
If I had a walk in coop, I would don some safety goggles, heavy duty gloves jacket and two nets. Close chicken door and quickly go in the big door and shut behind me. I would have a helper and net them crows.
If you have a small coop like me you'll have to net them from outside like I did with the sparrow. GC
