crumble or pellets

which kind of feed is the best to feed my laying hens... some say crumble and some say the pellets

I use pellets because I had a hen who could not eat crumbles, now I just use pellets even though she died last year.
I like Pellets because my chickens can see them easier, when I feed outside in the morning I just sprinkle the feed on the ground.
It doesn't really matter much though unless one of your hens has a health problem like mine.
