Crumble or Pellets?

Why feed Crumble over Pellets (laying) or Pellets over Crumble????? Is there a difference?

Different flock keepers grow to have different preferences. Sometimes, it simply a matter of which people prefer, without much reason, but feeder style is an influence, perceived waste of feed, or perceived preference of the birds themselves.

All feed is ground and then can be left as ground feed (mash), made into pellets or those pellets can be crushed a bit to make crumbles. The shape of the feed is no indicator of whether it is grower or layer or whatever.

I waste less when using pellets but my birds just won't eat them. That's why I've been using crumbles for the past few years.
