Crumble vs pellets

I will have to look into that though. Im still new with chickens im sure theres one in Maine but im not sure. I know on craigslist people who live more north than me sell huge bags of grains for cheap but thats about all ive found.

Yeah where i live in maine the only stores near me are Tractor supply which im not a fan. The prices arr double than paris farmers union an the hardware store near my house only sell southner traditional (i think thats the name) but it has way to much corn for my liking an is the same price as the blue seal i get $13.99. At Paris.

Paris Farmer's Union in Newport? I'm not fond of TSC either. In store by me, the feed is almost always ancient. Never heard of Southerner Traditional. that's PFU? I buy Blue Seal Bangor. Have been getting Back Yard Basic Layer which is $2 less/bag than their regular brand. However, last 2 bags, I bought multi flock 18%.

Yeah im in poland so auburn lewiston are the closest or oxford. Ive wanted back yard basics but paris never has it in stock at the lewiston on. Id likw to get it since its cheaper but still decent feed. An yes walmart does lol. An they also have pig goat an horse feed. An they have medicated chick starter as well. Other than the chick starter its a cheap brand for the othee feed

Weird I can't find it on Walmart.com.

For anyone interested Walmart has layer feed on sale for $9.88/40lb. That would equate to $12.35 for 50lb bag. They deliver for free to some stores where you can pick it up.
