Crumbled vs pellet

What do most folks feed chickens? I never heard of the pellets til yesterday, always used crumbled.

I prefer crumbles. Takes them longer to eat crumbles than pellets. That way they spend more time eating and less time getting into trouble. Like picking each other.

depends on what im feeding. waste is a big concern with me when feeding crumbs so i tendto lean towards pellets for larger birds. mine dont usually peck too much they have plenty of room fresh water and feed and all the scratch they can stand

I like pellets becouse they waist less an it does not pack an clog up my feeders.

Pellets seem to waste less, so when I get chickens, I'll always get pellets.

I have been wondering the same thing and tried some pellets worked with some and some seemed to not be eating near as well. Back to crumbles for now.
