crumbs or pellets

Oh my gosh my girls waste the crumbles.

How soon can I switch them to pellets? They were born the beginning of April 2010. So, 8 months old.

i use crumbles ever since i had my chickens its messy but i dnt wanna change to pellets and confuse them so im just gonna deal with the mess i just scoop it up off the coop floor clean out the straw and any little poop then put it in the feeder waste not what not

My chickens all have pellets...I have a 50lbs bag just sitting there....Anyone driving by here and want it?
