So glad she is none the worse for wear - incredibly tough little things...

Update 9 Years Later: Smashy has passed away. She died of natural causes, old age we presume. Special shout out to everyone who commented, gave advice & wished us well 9 years ago. This is an example of how valuable Backyard Chickens is!! Extra special outcome was that I made a lifelong friend because of lil' Smashy, angelzfyre!

I set a waterer (one gallon chick) on a baby and didn't find her for 7 hours. She was fairly flat, but the edges of the waterer were partially on the bedding. We gave her water and warmed her. She is up and pecking but very slow and a little wobbly. Any chance that she can survive? She did poop twice and can stand on her own. Advice?
