crusty chick

one of my chicks that hatched today - his feathers are a bit crusty - he is not wet, but looks it - how do I clean him up? The other chicks are picking on him

Chicks should dry off fine, I've never had one that didn't.

I am in the middle of a hatch rigt now and I would say half of my chickes where a bit crusty a few hours after hatch. They have been picking eachother but in quite gentle way. They all dried up fine.
