Also have smelled a skunk the last 2 days

where the heck is her head?

Smell of skunk can be a telling sign of a mink in the area. They also will take the head of the bird.

I lost 10 birds in one night to a mink after smelling a "skunk" on the night air for 2 weeks prior to the attack.​
