CT Chickenstock-2009

Quote:
We're in Oxford CT, which is between Waterbury and New Haven, off of Rt. 8. The date is Sunday May 3 from 12-6 or thereabouts. We call ourselves Moose Hill Farm but that's a little grandiose for what we are at this point; a 1962 residence with chickens, bee hive, garden and tractor.

if all goes well im hoping to be in attendance with at the very least my younger sister and hopefully my mother.
this would be our first as were new to this (we dont even have any chickens yet) so forgive if i seem dense, were from the uk, only been here a couple of yrs, and theres nothing like this in the Uk.

we'd be very interested in a couple good standard pullets/sexed chicks to start off our backyard flock
looking for australorp, faverolles, plymouth/barred rock, RIR, red/black star, sussex, golden/silver laced wyandotte.
woudl also be interested silkies.
if you have/may have any of these, let me know, im not sure how all this works so...

id probably have plenty of things to add to a tag sale/freebie swap (though nothing chicken related) mostly fish tanks/supplies as well as lots of brand new dog stuff for smaller breeds.

and i could definalty bring something for the food table

I added you to the list which now brings us to 32, including Mr. Moose Hill and me. Dog and fish stuff sounds interesting, as does english country food and desserts...trifle is an english dessert, right? Feel free to enlighten us on the subject!
