CT Chickenstock-2009

Just about any types of veggies. We have our raised boxes built and full of great soil and compost. Now I just need to fill them up.

Those stones are gorgeous! I'm feeling like a shlump because I won't have chicks, only mixed eggs at best, we're barely starting enough seeds for our own garden and my chances of going through stuff for the tag sale between now and then are slim! I will have some books of various sorts, cooking, gardening, pets....OH- I do have a copy of a Chicken Coop book that I'm ready to part with. It's like new...

Oh I want some BCM, please!! I had a failed hatch 3 weeks ago, and have been so bummed I missed out on them.

I have a young handsome cockeral that needs a new home. I'll get a pic of him up soon. He's ~4mo old mix of Silkie and either Americauna/Sebright/Comet. I got him at the Feb 22nd swap in Milford, NH along with others, but his beautiful tail feathers scream cockeral to me.

Here's a pic of him at 12wks old when I first got him (the one in front):

I'll get a new one tomorrow.

Just planted some salad greens in peat pots indoors, after I saw that's what you're looking for!!! also planted tomato, melon, snowpea seeds, we'll see what sprouts by chickenstock...should be lots of fun trading.

oh I was thinking with all the seedlings and dixie cups those who have cats or dogs that buy wet food could bring the left over card board boxes for the cans bought by the case this they make great seedling trays for travel

Please be our bread baking, chocolate chip cookie lady and leave the other stuff to us; no stress allowed.

No problem. I was just hoping to have something to trade for seedlings or chicks (ssssshhhhh~James is impressed that I left TSC TWICE with no chicks and didn't beg for duckling tonight!!) I would love some silkie hens or BCMs. He's just looking forward to getting the 6 chicks we have outside!
