Cubby Coop

Only $100! I'd just have to build a run and install a chook door. Maybe replace a few windows with wire for ventilation.

My first coop was a ebay coop, cost almost $200 and is no where near the quality or size as this!

Has anyone ever done a cubby conversion before?

lol I didn't know cubby was an aussie term!

I guess you guys just call it a kids playhouse or something? I just found one with a "car port" (kid size) on the side, I could just wire the walls of that and it would make an awesome run!

Wow! Those things are over $1000 new - price depends on all sorts of things. it would make an amazing coop. Go for it. i just wish I lived in Victoria.

I would get the one I first posted but really I'm looking for something raised. so I can rent with it and not permanently damage the lawn.

I could lways pretend I was going to use it as a cubby. i used to have one and my niece loved it. She has a little sister now and I am sure they would both love it....... They need to learn how to share too just like all kids. Not sure how their mother would go with them sharing with chooks
