Hi all, I really need some help!

I've come out to check on my new chooks make sure they were all set for the night (I've had them for about 2 weeks) and found one of the Auracuana hens breathing quiet heavily and not acting like herself. She doesn't have watery eyes, nasal discharge, I could see anything in her mouth and her crop has some food in it but it definitely wasn't full.

Shes from a well know breeders around me and im really concerned about loosing her

*Edit* I went out to check on her again and she's developed some clear nasal discharge and began to lightly cough/sneeze

Your hen appears to have a case of stridor. This isn't a life threatening issue. Some sort of irritant has lodged in her airway. Almost always it resolves on its own in around 24 hours.

Often, chickens will inhale dust from trying to gobble their feed too fast. Most will sneeze it out, but sometimes it lodges and is slow to be expelled. Unless your hen is showing signs of low oxygen, comb turning purple, there is little to worry about.
