My 6 Cuckoo Bluebar eggs arrived Monday. I candled them because I had to have a peak. They were full of little bubbles - like champagne. They are in the incubator. I'll wait until next week to candle again. Will post more photos then.

Here's a photo of one of our Cream Legbar roosters, Little Caesar. He is about 5 months old now. Raised from a chick. I believe Cream Legbars figure into the genetics of the Cuckoo Bluebar.

Chicks are doing well and growing great. Had a bit where I thought I had some cocci but Corrid cleaned that up.

That's great news. Ours are set to hatch in 5 days. Can you post pictures of yours as they grow?

Apparently a "new creation" by MyPetChicken.com, I've ordered some eggs and will have them in the incubator as soon as they arrive. I'll keep this post updated with photos, etc.

It's hard to tell. I hatched a group of barred Leghorns at the same time so I won't be able to tell for a bit.

Ok. Will be interested to see. We bought 6 eggs and all 6 hatched. Now we'll see how they do. )

. I also saw My Pet Chicken Ad for Cuckoo Blue-bar eggs, was actually googling for Cheshire Blue Pullets that lay a beautiful blue egg. I was thinking of ordering a dozen, but after reading previous posts I might wait to see how they develop. I saw all the baby chick pictures, and some look different than the others, does this indicate a sex-link chick or are the pictures not clear? Please keep posting updates on chicks, how many turned out cockerels verse pullets, and could you tell the sexes apart? Thank you Diana

My chicks hatched great! All that hatched (6) are thriving. This was taken a week ago.
