Cuckoo Maran - Ariel or Prince Eric?

She (oh please) is 3 weeks old. She was sold to me as a pullet.

"She" is very friendly. "She" loves to sit in my hand and is very sweet. "She" is very curious. What concerns me is the way she stands sometimes as well as her short stumpy-looking tail

Ariel indeed. One thing that can really help you with any Cuckoo/Barred breed is that as a chick, females will have a small white spot on the head, and males will have a large white spot, often expanding back to the neck.

Looks like an Ariel to me. it's still a bit early to tell though. Post some new pics in a couple weeks and it will be a bit easier to tell
