Cuckoo Maran Babies - Gender, Please

oh bird number 2 by the way has feathers with light tips and a light grey stripe across each feather. Is that what's considered double barring and therefore would make it male?
 
The barring gene causes there to be white banding in the feathers, being sex linked the males have a wider white band. They will both have white tips to the wing feathers. If the feathers are coming in grey, and chick #2 does look grayer in these pictures that's your one to exchange--and get the darkest chick you can grab (0:

I have to say though she showed me the other chicks in that batch and WOW are the males easy to spot. They were really, really light. Would be great if the females had that fool proof light grey color...
