Cuckoo Maran chicks sex link?

I just got some 3 day old chicks and some have large white spots on top of their head, others have small ones while others have none. Is that a link to what sex they may be?

Supposedly the ones with the bigger spots that are lighter in color are the males. Don't know how well it works...I'll tell you when mine grow up!

Thanks Kelly, I wondered if they were like the Barred Rocks. I have a few of those and knew that the spots were indication of sex.

BTW.. what color are your EE eggs and what is the price on them? My RIR's are pipping as we speak

My EE eggs are blue and green. I usually sell them for $15/dozen.
