Cuckoo maran hen or roo

I’ve got a couple 10 week olds then I’m holding out about 2% hope that they aren’t roos. Number one has the right colouring to be a hen but has redder comb and wattles. Number 2 comb is bigger but not red more pink and the tail feathers we different then all the other cuckoo marans but it’s definitely lighter. I have to decide by Monday as all the roos are being picked up so would love some second opinions if they are worth taking a chance on.

I’ll try to take comb pictures when I’m home. But they are both similar size but the darker chicken has a much redder comb. The lighter chicken is more pink.

Are the feathers in the area I have marked new pointed saddle feathers coming though? (which would mean cockerel)
Thats what it looks like to me. Could you take another photo, with your hand or a piece of paper under them, so we can see more clearly?
Also, comb photos would be good.

Looks to be a cockerel based on the coloring - or a barred rock. Definitely not a CM pullet.
