Cuckoo Maran rooster?

I have a Birchen Marans rooster in with some BR hens. A rooster from that cross had the Cuckoo pattern. I'd say yours is a cross of some kind, but neither pure BR or CM.

Yep, not a BR nor a CM, at least not pure. This rooster of mine was similar to yours with the "blonde" you are showing as well as some reddish streaks. He is 1/2 Delaware and 1/2 Something else that wasn't barred-barring came from the Delaware. So, your doesn't have to be a sex link, specifically, just a cross whose one parent passed on a barring gene.
X2 on speckledhen's observation.

Thanks everyone, I will have to take pictures as he continues to get old and keep everyone updated on how he turns out. I first noticed it with just a couple feathers on the back of his neck from a glance it looked like maybe he got in a fight with something and was missing some feathers. As I got closer I noticed they were actually yellow or blonde colored feathers and he has been getting more and more since then.

I like color so it's all good for me in the long run lol, as long as he stays nice! I won't put up with no mean roo's lol.

Does he look like this?

I am being told this is a CM rooster
(I hope not, I wanted a BR hen)

The feet and legs of mine are a dark yellow. He is barred like that except starting to get blonde feathers by his hocks and by part of his wings. He does have some of that blue/green that is one of your pics only his is more blue.

Here is another picture but still doesn't show the blue part.

It is interesting to see how the leakage grows as the bird ages. I've had a bsl rooster that must have had glw in his heritage, he had a few perfectly colored gold laced feathers crop up after a year old.
