Cuckoo maran

So this little one is the only cuckoo maran I thought was a girl out of all my chicks. She has always been darker in color than all the other ones and her sit in her head was smaller and neat as a chick but she has a comb and a wattle. both of which are small but more red than all the other chicks. They are 6 weeks old. Any thoughts. Picture is the same chick

Right. This one is super confusing. She/ he is definitely darker but the comb has come in so quick and to me even looks reddish in comparison to the other ones. I sure hope your right or I don’t even have one pullet.

I would say its a pullet but im not 100% sure

Sometimes it takes a little longer than 6 weeks to get a good idea. Watch for growth/color spurts in the comb and wattles for the next few weeks.
