Cuckoo Marans not laying at twenty four weeks

Hi, everyone! Just checking to see if some breeds start laying later than twenty weeks. My six Cuckoo Marans pullets are hanging out with the rest of my flock, hens who are laying eggs regularly. I thought it might be timing of the year as they hit twenty weeks a few weeks back but the days are getting short here in New England and their clock might be affected? (I don't provide artificial lighting in their coop.

Mine are 24 weeks too, no eggs here either. My Plymouth rock is the same age and she isn't either.

I am figuring this out and letting it not make me crazy. Watched pots never boil I guess.

My cuckoo marans is the only one out of nine who hasn't yet started laying, and she'll be 8 months old next week. Good to hear it's not out of the ordinary!
