Hi there! Need help with what gender these little guys are! I Hatched out some eggs from cuckoo marans, Easter eggers, cream legbars and black copper Marans. I picked all the ones that looked the most like cuckoo marans (they could be Cross-breeds though!)
Any thoughts on who’s a boy and who’s a girl? I’m pretty sure the lighter one is s cockerel but the others, not so sure!

What makes you say it's a cockerel? It have zero comb or wattle development. It sound as if they very well could be cross-bred, meaning the barring has nothing to do with it. Anyway, you can't really rely on barring with hatchery birds, as the genes get all muddied up.

I said it was a "guess" because of the hackle feathers.

We’re only guessing here. Comb size and redness can be an indicator, but its not a very reliable way of being able to tell if it’s a pullet or a cockerel.
