Cuckoo Marans?

I read that male cuckoo marans are usually lighter in color... are the hens sometimes lighter too?? I just got some chickens and one is a marans, and is lighter, but looks more henish to me, and acts like a hen...?

my guy acts like a hen too. he's really quiet and quaint. really gentle. He's light, with white legs.

I really don't know... The guy I got them from acted like hus Pullets should be laying any day now... But Nugget is smaller than all the rest of the chickens I got. Just guessing...14-16 weeks?

Here is my CM/EE roo about the same age you think yours is, but I think yours is about 10 weeks from his looks.

if it's age is between 10 wks and 14 wks, I'd say Roo.
My roo that's pictured above is about 20 - 22 wks.
