Cuddlebones

It's spelled "cuttlebone" and it comes from the cuttle fish (although it's not really a bone, more like an inner shell, and it's not really a fish either...) But, I assure you, there's no cuddling involved.

I always thought it was a "cuddle" bone because my parrakeets like to snuggle up to it.

But then they will take a bite... I never knew it was from a cuttle fish!

All I know DH's new nickname is gonna be "Cuddlebone." Too good to not use it.
