I can put this someplace else if I need to, because this isn't really an EMERGENCY.
I just couldn't see anyplace else that would cater to this... issue?

In any case, my 2 year old chabo (Soon to be 3, oh joy) has gotten awfully cuddly lately.
Normally, she's a "Keep me alive and I'll let you live" type bird. She LIKES being held, but not often.
Recently she's been walking up to me and sitting in my lap, preening a bit, then she'll sleep.

She eats and drinks well. Her poos are normal and there's nothing in her throat.

So, is she just super affectionate all of a sudden, or is she in pain and needs consoling?

I'm not used to cuddly hens, so...

I think she is suffering from

Post some pix. Luv to see Cuddles. I think the name gives some clue of her behavior.

I think we'd all like to know what chickens are thinking, like why do they all lay in one nest and ignore the others, squabble at bed time etc. Seems she's just after some tlc. I'm guessing you don't have a roo? My girls are a lot more friendly now they are rooless.
