cuddliest friendliest cutest most fun ducks?

I love my runners but It takes alot of work to get them to the point where their like dogs.
I would say muscovies would be the best duck choice, but have you considered looking into geese? they are much more simmaler to dogs, while I would more compare ducks to cats.
Any domestic duck if raised to be friendly will be friendly, it just takes time and persistence.
Sorry about my spelling there

Pekins or muscovies OR Welsh harlequins! My Muscovies are scared of me when i try and oet them bbut when im just giving them treats they come right up to me my pekin likes to be petted but not held and my Welsh Harlequins dont like to be petted and only sometimes eat out of my hand.. but after i catch them they dont make a fuss

Muscovys no question about that. We have pekins, rouens, anacona's and have had runners and call ducks in the past. The pekins and my anacona girl are the friendliest of the "mallard derived" ducks but they still don't compare to the muscovys ares will catch bread or corn kernnels thrown to them, they follow us around the yard and "help" us when we are digging fence post holes, garden areas or anything else that might unearth a worm. Our other ducks tolerate us because we feed them, but they don't really want to be part of our daily lives. Our rouens, runners and call ducks would run if we threw bread/other foods at them, like it was a scary monster trying to eat them! I think a lot of it is because we have other ducks, they would maybe bond better if you just had one? But my opinion is Muscovys are the friendliest and most like dogs, Ours even "wag" their tails when they get excited.
