It was born like this. It's like the legs are in frog position. It tries to move it's legs, but they just flip out on both sides. Is this at all spraddle leg? or worse... cull? or try to splint?

I had a bunch of ducks hatch like that over summer because I couldn't turn the eggs while I was on vacation. If only one leg is like that it might be ok, but if both of them are bent you should probably cull it.

I am so sorry, it was hard for me to deal with my deformed ducks as well.

Give it just a little time. Poor thing was cramped in that shell for so long his muscles need a chance to straighten up and get strong. Let him dry out and move a bit. It might just be a temporary thing.

My chicks hatched last weekend. I was really worried that one might be all twisted up, but she turned out fine after about 12 hours under the lamp.

teacup? explain? I'm willing to do whatever I can for this little one.... what size teacup? etc.?

Anything shaped like a teacup will do. You just want the base narrower (is that a word?) then the top so the legs can't spread apart as easily and the chick stays upright. Tape it up like you do for spraddle leg and then put it in the teacup so it stays upright and the legs stay together. If it doesn't at least start to improve in a few days I'm afraid culling will be your only option. No harm in giving the little one a shot though.
