Hey yall. Cull or treat?

One of my buffs close to laying age has these scabs all over her throat area. Nowhere else. I checked her skin elsewhere and didn’t see any creepy crawlers. I don’t see an injury spot per se.

I tried wetting them and used a lil scrub brush gently. She didn’t seem in pain or to care at all when I did. She’s also acting normal.

I’ll treat if it’s not too extensive. Not sure if fowl pox cause all the other girls are ok right now. Didn’t see this til now because her feathers have always been poofier instead of sleek. Came back from a week long vacation so it must have gotten worse if I was able to see it when I picked her up.

Does it seem raised or more like an injury? Do others pick on her? Has she been scratching it a lot? I would probably just clean it twice a day and apply some antibiotic ointment.

It’s not raised, they’re on top of her skin attached. Cause I looked for an injury but saw none! Others don’t pick on her, she’s kind of a loner because she hangs out on the roosts all day. She’s such a sweetie! I don’t think she’s been scratching. I’ll try and clean and get ointment, thank you! Should I try slowly scraping the scabs off?
