Culling and prepairing

As we were processing our first meat birds (chickens, we've done ducks before) we came across this on our bird. Thoughts? Btw, cone method was fantastic!!

Looks like deep pectoral myopathy. It happens to heavy breed chickens and turkeys where the breast grows so big and fast that it cuts off blood supply to various parts. It could have also been caused by an injury. Meat birds are not the most graceful of critters. Most people would rather not eat them since it is a form of rot but I've heard people eating other parts of the same bird before discovering the green parts and not getting sick.

I have talked to several people but never get a definitive answer! She is frozen now but when I start to thaw to eat, we will cut off the wing just to be safe.
