Me too & i don't eat nuggets. In our family, due to years working in the industry, we call them beakandfeet! Disgusting!!

Sometimes you can find people searching for cockerels to raise for food on Craigslist, and you can use the thread for your state here on BYC to find someone as well. If that is a route you are comfortable with, it is a great way to help someone find a good source for their family. It's a chance to give the little dudes more time to enjoy life. They would be providing someone with sustenance during this time when food shortages can be a concern.
