how old should my birds be before they go in the freezer? I am hatching Barred Rock chicks and just hatched some Austrolorps and plan to cull all the roos (except for the nicest of both for breeding purposes. What is the tastiest age to do this?

Does anyone vacume seal theres? I vacume seal everything I freeze but dont think I will be able to fit the whole bird in it. Is there a method or larger vacume sealer that does the job well?

When you go to collect your birds do the others no longer trust you, even if they dont see what happens to the doomed birds?

I can't answer most of your questions, but our hens seemed *relieved* when we ate our rooster [IMG]
