So it seems the antibiotics may not be helping, some of my birds now r getting swollen heads with nasal discharge and eyes almost completely shut. Is it time for injections?

How many days have you been giving the higher dose?

The problem is that many bacteria are resistant to tetracyclines, especially E. coli and pseudomonas aeruginosa, which are commonly found in birds with respiratory infections.

Seems to be hitting bantams the hardest. Larger fowl not so much

A friend of my had cultures done on some of his sick ones, and this is what the lab found:

Are they drinking enough? You could try giving an oral drench of it.

I think the target dose is somewhere between 30 and 60 mg/kg (14-28 mg per pound) twice a day.

Just put .03 ml forcefully to my sebrite and andvor roosters. See if it helps
