New to chickens so please don’t make fun of me of this question makes no sense :)

It’s my understanding Easter Eggers are Hybrid “mix” chickens. Curious if this is true, what breed(s) do you think mine are made of? I have two of the lighter colored and two of the darker colored. Thanks in advance!

EEs aren't hybrids--they're a melting pot. They're made of Ameraucana stock, rejected Ameraucana stock, Chilean birds and whatever cross your particular hatchery/breeder thought would make the best layers.

Honestly, most EEs are so mixed, trying to figure out their ancestry is like pointing to your average white American guy and asking what his ancestry is. If you're in PA, you can bet there's a lot of German, maybe some Irish in there, but anything else? *shrugs.*
