This is my second year with chickens. We had to get rid of our RIR rooster because he attacked my nephew. Wanting another rooster and a few more hens I bought (supposedley) 3 buff pullets, 2 straight run white silkies, 2 unknown straight run bantams and 1 Easter egg pullet.

The Easter Egg pullet was a Cornish cross it grew so fast that it was probably 5 lbs by the time the buffs were maybe 2 and the bantams very small still. Unfortunately she smothered 2 of the bantams. We ate her after that.

Here is what I have left and I would love to have some help identifying them.
The 3 Buff pullets Im pretty sure are not buffs and I am guessing that 2 of them are roosters.

A group shot with the one I think is a pullet in the lead

Here are the 2 little ones. I will try to get a better pic.

I copied the link and took off the IMG at the end
Thank you that confirms my fears.

Not sure why the IMG link isnt working do I need a different code?

What rooster would you reccomend I keep. My other hens are RIR, production red and Barred Rock. I would like to raise some chicks but I need a rooster that isnt real mean since I have little kids wondering around.

Ok loaded some pics right to the site. Left is the "Buff" that might be a roo to its right is what I think is a pullet
Walking away with his head cut off is the one who looks most like a roo.
The white bantam I was told is a Silkie it has 5 toes and a blueish tint to the feet.

The 2 I suspect to be Roo's

The bantam is probably a Silkie mix. Silkies are very fluffy and their feathers look more like fur. If yours has the 5 toes and blue legs it's probably a mix.

The other 3 look like New Hampshires, and yes, 2 cockerels and 1 pullet.
