Why is everyday store bought Apple Cider Vinegar not good for chickens and all natural is?

What is the difference?

I would imagine it is that the all natural is minimally processed and the other is highly process and may contain chemical pesticides and herbicides.

I also keep hearing that the organic kind has "the mother" in it. Something to do with the little particles down in the bottom. I hear there is a really good article about it in an issue of Backyard Poultry (April/May or March April???). I ordered a back issue for $4 from their website.

Could "the mother" refer to the fungi cluture that causes the apple cider to turn into vinegar?

Organic apple cider vinegar is produced from organically grown apples and is unfiltered and unpasturized. I don't believe there are any other 'additives' put into non-organic apple cider vinegar, but I may be wrong. The only pesticides etc that are in non-organic are the ones used while the apples were growing. I don't know if any chemicals are used to cause the vinegar to ferment faster. The 'mother' is protein strands that form while the vinegar is fermenting. I think. I may be wrong, but that's all I got!!! LOL!!!

I had a friend that worked in a wharehouse where they stored fruit and vegetables before shipping them out to stores and restaurants and he said they would spray them with pesticides to keep bugs off them. He also said there was an "organic" area where they kept organic stuff but that the pesticide mist would drift over to that area. It was very disturbing to learn that the organic produce I pay extra for and hope is better for me might be just as contaminated with pesticides as regular produce.
