Curious Question

We have 7 hens - 2 BO, 2 LB, 1 Black Sex link and 2 BR all aprox. same age. We got our first egg about 3 weeks ago and I am pretty sure the Black Sex Link was the first. For the last couple of days we are now up to 4 eggs a day. Do you think that more started it just because they are coming into laying age or do you think being around other laying hens make the others start to lay?

it is just because they are coming into laying age, you cant influence a pullet to lay an egg, it happens when its time.
