CURIOUS when do you all candle your eggs?

Hens definitely get off the nest to eat and poop - nasty nasty 'I've been saving this up all day' poops. I'm not sure how long they are off the nest for tbh but I believe it is daily.
Brinsea recommends 30 minutes , so not sure where i read 1 hour..

Yes brinsea says 30 minutes, maybe i didnt see 1 hour at all 😆😆 it would be interesting to know if anyone uses this feature in their incus.. so are u saying your incubator candles inside the incu without having to take them out or have i misunderstood? My mum had incu like that but it was a cheap chinese knockoff and was very very crap candling was so poor , but to have one that was amazing that would be genius. I too would do it all the time 😆

That's what it says. I got it after hatching season so I haven't used it yet

Well ive read that a hen comes off the nest every day for food and water for upto an hour (sounds bit long that ) putting the eggs into a cooling off period i think its called, new incubators like mine have a setting that u can set to allow for this to try inhibit natural hatching behaviours .. so i think you can use this little window to candle every day if u want😈😈😈😆😆 i dont tho but im just saying
Go for it! Have fun with it, it is an awesome experience and so cool!😊
