CURIOUS when do you all candle your eggs?

I am using my husband's LED flashlight simple but very effective! I will have to find out the name of it for you.

Yes please.. is it an led torch? I do have one of those and it does pack a punch maybe i should try that on my 4 dayers and see if its clearer than my ovascope

I got my new bloodline Quail eggs in the post today.2 dozen. They arrived okay except for 2.lucky I got 2 extra in with them.and then I'm putting in my own 80 Quail eggs.so all going in incubator tonight

If I've got shipped eggs, I don't candle until day 10, because I don't want to mess with the air cells. Eggs I've picked up or are from my own flock, I'll go ahead and candle on day 4 too. You can definitely see if anything is growing by then. Golden rule is 7 days, but I'm too curious to wait that long..lol

I very rarely candle my quail eggs. I just stick to the right humidity and temperature and wait til hatch day. I might have one look at them half way through to see how they are going.
