This chick hatched around 11pm June 27 - 9am June 28th Central Time and hasn't flattened his feet yet. I absolutely did not help Crip (the chick) hatch.

One chick is a little aggressive and made it's sibling bleed just above their beak. It's a superficial wound.

Crip's siblings all hatched fine. But the aggressive one is ripping apart the shells on the other eggs that are trying to hatch. Freddy Krueger had to be taken out to be isolated in another incubator that I use for 'Chicky ICU".

Bonus question😞, What's the best way to treat that kind of wound? It's less than a few millimeters, extremely mild wound. I just don't want it infected.

I'm an over-protective-helicopter-chicken-mamma. How do I fix Crip's feet? What's it called? Please only share advice that you have personally used and it worked. Thanks so much!!

Curled under toes may be helped with riboflavin vitamin B2, found in Poultry Cell and a few other chick vitamins (not NutriDrench.) You can also tape the toes in a normal position with tape on the top and bottom of the feet. The injury may not require anything, but you can use a dab of antibiotic ointment, vetericyn, betadine, or Chlorhexidene. Here is a good link on taping toes:
