We purchased 16 easter eggers or Americanas and one had curved toes on one foot. During the first 2 weeks of her life we splinted it but we would find that the bandage was picked at or pulled off. We purchased them in September and all hens are thriving and have acclimated to being moved in the large run. The hen with curved/crooked twos is a little smaller than the other which makes me think it was a deficiency. She actually was braver than the other hens during the integration into the coop. She will roost on a bar like the others and doesn't back down when one tries to spoon her. She is our little fighter.
