Curled toes, splayed leg, and wry neck. Day old chick. Please help. 😭

Hi all! I really need help with this day-Old D’Uccle chick. If pipped and tried to break through it’s egg but couldn’t make it so we had to help him. That was this morning. He never could walk quite right, and now I’m seeing that he has curled toes, what looks like splayed leg, and wry neck. He can’t stand on his own. Gave him a tiny bit of Selenium & Vitamin E Gel for goats. Having trouble getting him to eat. What can I do?
I’ve dealt with splayed leg before and know how to make the brace, but I’ve never dealt with all of these problems at once.

Aww poor baby giving him room temperature egg yolk every few hours with some much(mush being chick feed with hot water cooled down and absorbed) hope your little baby feels better bad start to the glorious chicken world little baby. : (

Thank you so much! I’ve seen the braces but I’m not sure how to deal with all three issues at once. Do you think it’s best if he stays in the incubator or goes in the brooder? It was a terrible hatch with only 3 (including him) out of 12+ eggs. Conditions were really bad but I won’t get into it. There are currently 3 other chicks all healthy all normal in the brooder. There is lots of space so they shouldn’t trample him.

Thank you, will try that! Just to confirm, that is raw egg yolk?

I would seperate him and maybe put a heating pad under him with a dish towel over it.

Well, he made it from one side of the incubator to the other. He cries whenever he isn’t being held.

Thank you! Don’t have a heating pad unfortunately. Would a micro-wave heated rice bag or towel work?
