Back in January I hatched some eggs that were shipped to me. One of the chicks had splayed legs which I managed to correct in its first week of life. However, it’s toes have curled. It still eats and drinks and keeps up with its siblings. However, I would like to know if the problem will correct itself as the chick grows?

I reckon it won’t be able to perch once the others start roosting. I would love to hear your advice!

Thanks

hello! that chimmy is a very nice one! I had a curled toe baby once, and I used shortened dull toothpicks taped with med tape around the toes to keep them straight, like a cast or splint kind of thing.
