Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

I thought the first one was the best.  Got REALLY bored and annoyed when they divvied up the ending to stretch out theater revenue dollars, especially since the first part of the ending was all politics.  DH informs me that Divergent series is doing the same.

As far as endless sequels, the Twilight series IMHO was done better as far as episode evenness.

Yes, there is violence.  But I would classify Hunger Games as suspenseful and not gratuitously violent.  (In other words, they are not splatterfests.)
Hmm yeah, they did the same with the final Harry Potter film(s), "The Deathly Hallows: part one". It's a pretty cheap way of getting more money, but clearly it works.

I can handle some violence, if it is integral to telling the story. For instance, the James Bond films. But excessive gore and violence really freaks me out.
Perhaps I'll read the books first. Hmm.
I actually have seen those. I think they're really good. The second was probably my favorite.
There is violence, but it's not just constant hacking and fighting.

I saw a clip of a girl getting hit with a spear. Does it get any worse than that? The fact she was just a kid was really distressing.
(Dat's meh F)

There's not excessive gore. The first one probably has the most violence (teens killing teens), but that's pretty much as bad as it gets. (I can't handle a lot of gore either. Yeah, that one clip made me a little sad too, so I must have an F somewhere). The storyline is really good, I think. I want to read the books.

Okay, awesome. When I was ten some boy in my class thought it would be hilarious to trick me into watching a horror movie scene and it has stuck with me ever since. Just can't handle that stuff. I think I'll read the books first and then see if I want to watch the films. Everybody's got an F silkypie. Even you.

Mean boy. You should track him down on Facebook and send him a horror movie clip. See if he remembers.
(jk. please don't really do that.)

:hugs (too much?)

He was obsessed with horror films. He looked like a mole rat, he spent that much time in his room with the curtains closed. I lost contact with him long ago, and I'm glad of it. In a weird way I think he did it because he liked me. Guys don't make sense sometimes

(It's never too much, say whatever you want ;))

Today we saw 'The Infiltrator'. 3 stars on the movie - 4 stars on Bryan Cranston's performance. Where has he been all these years? Princess says she saw him on Broadway and that he was primarily a stage actor prior to 'Breaking Bad'. Truth?
