You would have been proud of me when we saw "Jurassic Park". In the cafeteria scene when the velociraptors leapt up through the ceiling I jumped from my seat and shrilly screamed. Princess had to grab me to keep me from running away.

yet, little kids watch those movies without batting an eyelid. I've never screamed, but I've jumped a lot when they have "gotcha" moments. That's why it's better to watch at home....

Sour, you and I should go see that movie - we can scream in unison. Good to find a man who is man enough to scream. Breaking through another barrier like men crying. What's not to like if a man can express true feelings (minus weapons or police being called).

It’s a truly original film, very entertaining!! Well done as @potato chip said to John Krasinski for his debut. Very well done.

Today we saw "Beirut". It was really good - the first film I have really liked in a while. 4 stars on this one. Who knew Jon Hamm could really act ?

He was good in 30 Rock.

I booked a ticket to see a new movie called "Breath" (special screening). It's from a book by Tim Winton (which I haven't read) and Simon Baker directed it (he was in a show called The Mentalist, he's an aussie though)

Today we saw "Final Portrait". It was like watching paint dry on one of his paintings - don't bother seeing it. Princess said, "The best part of the movie was the previews of upcoming films."

I got advanced tickets to see "Avengers Infinity War," just about $5.79 or so for each ticket, early show.
But no reserved seats so who knows after battling the crowds where you end up sitting.

Get there early so you've got a decent chance of an ok seat. My seat for "Breath" is much closer than I'd like but it was just about sold out when I booked (Simon Baker's going to be there). Not right up the front though, I don't think I could stand that.
I used up my points on my ticket to infinity war so it sort of didn't cost me anything.
You've reminded me, I need to bone up on on the previous movies before I go. I haven't watched that Ultron one yet.....
Good cast in "Final Portrait", shame it's a dud.

Actually, it was a desperation pick on her part. It was a miserable rainy day, and we wanted to get out of the house.
