Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Okay, so we saw "A Star is Born". 3.5 stars from me and 4 and some tears from the Princess. deedee don't know if you using hearing aids or not, but you won't need them. Wear your glasses for a good look at Bradley Cooper. I know that you will enjoy that.

thank you Sour :) No hearing aids and one near sighted eye, one far sighted so don't need glasses. I may bring some ear plugs. I know how loud movie theaters can be. That's WHY people need hearing aids. :barnie

Usually cry just at animal movies & Wolverine (that's an animal -right?)

Sour, saw "A Star is Born," liked it very much till about the last 1/3. I'd give it 3 stars, my brother 3.5.

Don't want to ruin it for anyone BUT, I'd rather be "the wind beneath someone's wings,"

A small, curious thing- she wears a crucifix (she is actually Jewish) when her religion
has no meaning in the film.

BTW I remember a movie with Russell Crowe where he was supposed to be a Gang boss or second in command and he wore a prominent 'Star of David' through the whole movie.
Never once did it figure into the movie. He never got beat up for wearing it. I mean it wasn't a Jewish maffia ' Maybe some of the scenes that would have explained it were cut out.
