We watched “We Live in Time” last night on HBO. Good tearjerker, I’d recommend it.

That does look like a good movie!

Today we saw "I'm Still Here" the story of a woman's/family's survival after their husband/father is taken during the dictatorship in Brazil. We both go four stars. Something to think about what can happen when no control is exerted over a power leader. Sub titles, but well worth seeing. Excellent acting across the board.

Hopefully the separation of power here will hold up!

I am a bit worried about what is going in with social security now. I suspect it is holding up my approval. I applied on Jan 10 and just yesterday had to send in my backup again. The first time it was not scanned into the system.

Today we saw 'Anora'. I get the selection of the lead actress as 'best actress' - she is great in a tough role, but do not get the picture selection as 'best picture'. The Princess goes 3.5 stars, and I go 3. If you plan on seeing this film, understand that there is a lot of explicit sexuality and overuse of the 'F' bomb.

DeNiro plays a dual role as both mobsters, and is a 'different' person in each role. I wasn't sure it was him in both roles until I did a search on the cast.

I saw that DeNiro played two parts in the news. He makes a good Mobster!

Today we saw "The Penguin Lessons". Based on the true story of an English teacher at a prestigious boys school in Argentina during the chaos. We both go 3 stars on this film for overall enjoyment.

Today we saw 'The Amateur'. I rate it 4 stars, but the Princess only goes 2 - she thought it was boring. Maybe because she fell asleep?

I saw The Gorge movie, the sound in this movie is scarier than the actual movie itself.

I liked the beginning of that movie, once they went into the gorge it got stupid
