Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Today we saw "The Brutalist". It's 3.5 hours long with an intermission of 15 minutes. If you see it in a theater, pick one with luxury seating. I'll go 2.5 starts, and the Princess will go 3. Adrien Brody's performance is worth seeing - amazing actor!

Thank you for the review.

My husband saw “Conclave” and said it was fantastic.

It’s always a mad rush in February when I try to see as many Oscar nominated films as possible before the awards. So far I’ve only seen “The Substance” and “Wicked”.

Today we saw "September 5" - based on the Israeli hostage situation at the Munich Olympics. It held our interest - 3 stars from both of us.
Thanks for the review!

I remember when that happened.

Today we saw "I'm Still Here" the story of a woman's/family's survival after their husband/father is taken during the dictatorship in Brazil. We both go four stars. Something to think about what can happen when no control is exerted over a power leader. Sub titles, but well worth seeing. Excellent acting across the board.
